The fanless and maintenance-free AS20 industrial PC has a top-hat rail mounting device and can be operated with industry-standard 12V to 24V. It has a wide range of digital and analog COM ports and operates reliably in a wide operating temperature range from -40 °C to 70 °C.
All serial ports, DIO ports, and the DC connector feature a Phoenix connector that allows all ports to be additionally secured with screws. In total, the AS20 supports six serial ports that users can configure via the BIOS. With four DIO, six USB and two LAN ports, as well as a digital-analog DVI-I video output with VGA adapter, the AS20 is said to offer numerous other options. For wireless connectivity, the IoT PC also features WLAN, Bluetooth and 3G/LTE, for example for remote maintenance of the device.
At the heart of the industrial PC lies a Bay Trail Atom E3815 processor from Intel with a clock frequency of up to 1.46 GHz. Depending on requirements, the AS20 can be equipped with an E3825, E3845 or Celeron N2807 processor.
Potential applications for the DIN Rail PC include controls in factory automation, intelligent IoT control devices for indoor and outdoor use, digital signage, multimedia applications, and even installation in control cabinets and kiosks.
